YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE DIES
When someone has died, you can contact our Funeral Director and his team 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling us on: 01409 253555 or 01409 254256. We will initially take some personal details about the individual who has died and ask you if you would like us to receive the deceased at our private Chapel of Rest in Holsworthy.
If you would like us to bring the deceased into our Chapel of Rest, we will then make all the necessary arrangements with you regarding the transportation. You may choose for them to remain at home, but we would recommend that we receive them initially whilst all necessary preparations are made.
We will discuss with you a convenient time and place to meet to make arrangements for the funeral. This could take place at our Holsworthy office, in your home or a friend’s, or at a local solicitors.
In this meeting, we can help you with advice for all the necessary legal paperwork required, as well as discussing the funeral plans and costs.
If you or family and friends wish to visit with the deceased at our Chapel of Rest, we have private rooms in which you can do so.
